There’s been some big changes since I’ve really devoted myself to tumblr… (sorry guys..Pieter’s been home and well, that really takes first priority) ;)

We’ve moved in together into this great little house close to town. We have two bedrooms, a garage and a big back yard. We’ve been cleaning and painting until we want to pass out, but I’ll tell ya…hard work pays off and is SO worth it. The most exciting thing that has happened though…is we got engaged!!! I know I posted before but I wanted to scream it out again! I get to marry the man of my dreams. (sometime next October)

It’s been about a week since he’s been gone though, and I’m starting to get restless and lonely. Working, working on the yard and cleaning around the house has kept me preoccupied, but it sucks going to bed without him. And it’s hard not to get up and drink coffee together…boo hiss! 

Anyway…I’ve decided that there are two things a the FIANCE! (EEEEEEE) of a sailor will come to hate:

Sea Bags
Wearing a watch (Pieter only wears his when he’s headed out)

Pieter’s gotten a job working Dredge in Mobile, Alabama. Although he seems to be half way across the world from me, we got very lucky and he’s only gone for three weeks at a time. But when he gets his sea bag out and puts his watch on: sucktown. booooo!

that’s it. :)

So obviously I haven’t been blogging a whole lot. With Pieter being home, all of our summer obligations and moving, it’s been crazy lately!

However…I wanted to share something very exciting!!

Pieter asked me to marry him!!!!

and he did a DAMN good job. :)
